  • Question on Pembrolizumab treatmement for Urothelial Carcinoma Cancer vs Kidney

Posted by jatonyctofla on June 14, 2018 at 11:44 pm

Just been Diagnosed with Detached fragments of high grade Urothelial Carcinoma and Hyalinized Strom in right kidney lower pole biopsy.

Invasive urothelial carcinoma, NOS , Right Kidney mid pole biopsy.

Medical Oncologist at MSK options for treatment, removed solo kidney and go on dialysis or try Pembrolizumb treatments.

Has anyone have experienced with this situation, please time sensitive.

Does anyone known if John Hopkins or any other treatment centers have options to preserve my solo kidney?

    Thank you for your support,

The only way to get a good answer to your question is to contact the urology department at Johns Hopkins or perhaps MD Anderson and ask them.
