Well, I had an implant done on September 26th. It is now october 12th and I am still sore, but all the horrible swelling is almost gone. I had never seen such a great shade of “Dusty Eggplant” before in my life. Not even after my R.C. next week I see my doctor and we’ll find out how things are progressing.

I have to say that one has to be dedicated to have this done. I could walk much better, faster than after the R.C. Wasn’t as tired either. But I think the pain was slightly worse and has lasted longer.

We’ll see if the pleasure measures up to the pain. Some ratio to be thinking about , huh? ???

I’m not noticing any tubing near the surface. After the first day finding the belp the button is easier. I’m no longer squeezing the wrong thing. The doctor advised me to move the penis in various directions while erect to encourage increasing the size of the erection. The first week I am to erect things once a day and then move to twice a day. He also told me I am “good to go for action” whenever I feel like it without waiting four additional weeks. That was a surprise after reading your post and Zack[move][move][move][/move][/move][/move]

Thanks for the info about manipulating the Penis in all directions to bring back some of the “lost” size. I find that very interesting. Of course size doesn’t matter, but then it doesn’t hurt either-except when one pumps to much. But there is only so much fluid in the reservoir so that shoots that down also doesn’t it.

But, more info to “play” with. ;D

George,we have been following your tale with great interest as my husband also got an implant in November. But we are puzzling over your statement that the salesperson came along to witness the implant. Is that what you meant? The doctor brought in a sample of the device in a plastic bag when my husband went for his recheck to help with the education. However, it was still tricky finding the button in real time on our own. The doc said it was like learning to ride a bike. We shall see how true that is.

Yes, that is what I meant. For some reason the salesperson (Company Rep) from San Antonio had to bring the Implant to the Hospital. Like Austin isn’t big enough to have some on hand?

It’s no problem at all once one knows what the heck they are pushing, probing, feeling for.

I am still having a bit of trouble coming to terms with the feel of all the plumbing inside the scrotum tho. and the tube running near the outside of the base of the Penis. My reservoir is very near the surface so that probably changes the way things feel.

Let me/us know what transpires with you all please.

:-Yes, I was totally confused and I can’t say that it was anywhere near what one would call fun trying to figure it out. My brother-in-law asked me if it hurt, and I asked him by way of an answer, “Have you ever had an erection for five hours?” Of course not, wjho has except for some of us trying to have one at all!!!!!!

I will keep this venue posted of what transpires between my Uro and I about this. His nurse is the one that gave me the paperwork so maybe there was only one type on file or something. I don’t want to make excuses for them, but I do no that accidents happen. that’s why when I had my knees operated on (one at a time) I marked the knee which was to be operated on with a magic marker. Not needed on the latest operation since I am not from Mars and have only one penis! :D

George, what the heck does your doctor have to say about this? I’m not going to call it “bait and switch” until we know the whole story, but I can certainly see why you were confused.

If it helps, I had to call AMS once as well when I couldn’t figure the darn thing out. But I certainly didn’t have to dislocate my shoulder deflating it–that’s beyond the call of duty!

The diagram and info that I got from my Uro wasn’t what I just got from the AMS company in San Antonio-where my implant came from. Also the saleswoman from AMS has to accompany the implant and oversee it’s implantation.

We were told to press on the ends of the two square feeling pieces of the implant in the scrotum. It (diagram) also indicated that the pump was in the upright position in relation to the body. As I feel the implant the squeeze bulb is at the bottom and the piping is in the top center. So what really works for me is to know that the squeeze bulb is at the bottom center. The pressure release button is in the top portion in the center of the pieces not on the ends of the square pieces.

I will try scanning the documents later and see if they are worth sending in for all interested parties to be able to view.

My wife must have accidently happened on the correct spot to effect the release the other day. Haven’t tried it out again since she dislocated her shoulder late Monday night ans we spent all night in the emergency room and recovering from it since.

My wife thought of that, put a warm wet washcloth on the equipment and then she “found” the spot better than I had and it did go down. What a relief after 5 hours. :o

George, the tubes will always be a bit hard. Firm is a better description. The pain will subside, I promise.

If you have the same model I do, you can help deflating yourself by holding the little release buttons on the side and gently… well… how shall I put this… think of very carefully and slowly milking a cow.

The best advice I have is to try it in a hot tub/jacuzzi with the jets turned off. Or a warm bath. That way you can really get a good tactile feeling for what’s going on down there.

Not sure if I know how to operate this contraption! Having read the illustrated instructions and had a session with my Uro, plus being very mechanically inclined I would have thought that I would do okay operating this thing. However I am beginning to wonder if I haven’t been walking around with an erection for awhile. It is hard on the sides and hurts.

There are two places that feel mostly square and the pump portion is located between them. One is supposed to squeeze the ends of the square piece and the implant should deflate.

Doesn’t feel like it is happening. Couldn’t get to my Uro as I was out of town/state for my brother-in-laws funeral in Minnesota.

One good thing came of that trip tho, I had “Moose Drool” beer for the first time. ;D

Tomorrow I get to learn how to operate the thing and see if it tears me up or pumps me up. :o

At my one-year follow-up I ran into the IPP surgeon and told him that I thought there might still be a little room down there if he had any other mechanical devices for me to try…. ;D

No, the I(no)PP is my little jest. It’s the artificial sphincter I had installed early this year.

You can read about it here:
