One year in after partial cystectomy.
I’ve been having painful spasms since being scoped this morning. Up till now, follow-up scoping has been a non-event.
Sometimes MD has had assistant doing the driving. This time the nurse either forgot or didn’t use enough anesthetic. There was plenty of time for absorption.
Did the lack of anesthesia set the stage for muscle spasms?
The spasms are very strong, causing 8 level pain, I get about 20 seconds to get to the toilet.
    So, what’s different?
I’m going to call them tomorrow if this doesn’t start settling down.

Any answer I would give is just a guess. I am thinking maybe the urethra was irritated creating spasm that should subside. I certainly call the doc’s office to get some relief if it continues.
