Pain Question
Posted by tahoemom on May 13, 2008 at 11:27 pmPain was pretty uncomfortable when I first got home. Slowly getting a little less.
Is this a fairly normal situation after having the tumors removed?mssmr replied 16 years, 9 months ago 5 Members · 6 Replies -

Hiya all,
Pain was bad at first, but today all I needed so far is a couple of tylenol extra strength. Burning when I urinate into the catheter, and some small blood clots. But I started tonights dinner, did a load of laundry , and sent hubby back to bed. He looks worse for wear than I do. Poor guy :( Glad to see him rest.
All in all, (except for trying to find a good position to sit with this catheter, I am feel really good. I’ve got 28 1/2 of the Vicodin left that he gave me for pain. I Knew I didn’t need that much . ::)
hugs all

The pain is normal. I had my second TURBT last week and I still have some pain when I urinate. The pain was not as bad as the first in December when they removed the tumor which was 4cm. For several weeks I had bladder spasms with some burning. Urelle helped somewhat witht he spasms.
