    For what it’s worth, I read an abstract (I think it was on this site) that said the statistics were:
    Cystoscope finding recurrence: 80%
    Cystoscope + nmp22 finding recurrence: 90%
    But I don’t think anyone would do a urine test without a cystoscope? That’s still the gold standard.
    Unfortunatly my doc. doesn’t do them (nmp22).

    Is this the urine test? I would rather do that than get a sisto. This would be for my 3 month checkups, Don

    Brian,

    My Doc did ONE NMP22 and explained to me very thoroughly that there is such a thing as a FALSE positive with this test, but NEGATIVE means NEGATIVE.

    Hi
    My urologist did that along with the csytoscopy. The reading was negative.
