It’s the end result that matters. What’s the point of having kids if they can’t do something for you every now and again? :)

    Nancy,

That picture was taken this past September at the restaurant of the hotel we stay at in Cancun. So, I was near a beach at the time of the picture. Except for lakes and ponds, we have no beaches in Colorado. :)

    Babsie,

You can try installing Firefox (free brower), Chrome (free browser from Google) to see if they work if you can’t install IE9. Just do a google search on either one for a site to install from.

I updated my browser and the best I can do is IE8. I guess I won’t be able to get into everything on the site until we buy a new computer. I am working on it but don’t get any cooperation from my other half.
As long as it still works it is ok for him.

I too like the new site and pics of everyone, but now if i post a pic and it still looks bad
I will have no excuse. New site is great and new pics are great, except George looks a little like a car. :)

Hi Babsie… There’s no way to transfer photos from your personal gallery to your profile, at least that I have discovered at this point anyway. Don’t know what happened to your profile pic that was up there, but you will need to reload it from your computer again.

Go to the purple menu at the top of the page. Put your mouse over “Community” and a menu will drop down. Leave your mouse on “My Profile Page” and a box will slide out to the right that says “Edit My Profile”. Click that!

It will go to an “Edit Your Details” box. There will now be tabs across the top. Click on “Portrait”. A drop-down menu will be next to where your pic will go. Select “Upload New Profile Image”. Browse on your computer and click on the photo you want to use, then click “Update”.

The “Select Image From Gallery” option only allows us to pick from the site’s default avatars.

You can edit your profile info by clicking the “About Me” tab also.

    Hope this helps!

    Best wishes… Catherine

You need to upload a picture to the new site. Go to “Edit Profile” to upload the picture.
