    Hi Shell
    Nice to see you here.:)
I considered myself young when I was diagnosed although not as young as you. I had just turned 44.
I was googling something the other day, maybe Non-invasive BC??? however what popped up was a hit on a 19 year old who had BC.

    Hello Shell,

Sorry you have to join our party. Sounds like so far your low grade which is a good thing. I hope that it stays that way. I am female and 38 when I was diagnosed with Invasive bladder cancer. Talk about throwing the doctors for a loop. Not quite as young as you but still pretty young. I have since found out there are a lot of us “young ones” out there. I personally feel since they do not do enough research on this disease that there are are more of us than they know.

They didn’t even begin to suspect bladder cancer with me. I am the one that had to demand to see a urologist. Keep asking questions, demand answers, seek second opinions, and know that we are here for you.

I just talked to Shell in chat and he is in Georgia and would like some suggestions for a second opinion. He has had his first TURBT and is awaiting the second to remove another tumor so far low grade but he will not know for two weeks.
