Hello all – I had a radical cystectomy 12 years ago. The cause of my cancer was cyclophosphamide which I was
rescribed for Wegeners Granulomatosis diagnosed in 1991. At first, my bladder cancer was graded at 2 then when pathology returned it was grade 3. I saw two urologists with both recommending radical cystectomy. Three months after surgery a CAT scan showed metastases to lymph nodes. This brought my cancer grading to stage 4. I underwent chemo and radiotherapy and obviously I am still around.
