New BC Website
Posted by Melodie on December 8, 2008 at 6:56 pmHi all,
Early on during my treatment for BC I told Wendy that it was really important to me to be able to give something back…a number of wonderful individuals on the forum here, esp. Pat, Holly and Wendy were my emotional coaches…and I know that somehow, I want to be the same to others…was going to write a book when a friend insisted that I instead, get on the Internet…so here follows the address for my new website…meager but heartfelt…written from my personal point of view and targeted (I think) more towards women.
http://www.bladdercancerwarrior.com
Hope to do more in the way of educating others….but this is a start.

Lady Jane, Gracie, Maria,
Thanks for all the lovely comments…I appreciate all the positive feedback as I want to stay motivated to do lots more in the way of educating others…
my intent was to offer comfort and reassurance as well as information…it has been hectic trying to get the site up and running with all else I have going on in my life but have to say it has been a labor of love. God willing, I will do lots more in the area of improving awareness of this subject…I know if God is behind me, it will happen…I’ll come up with the ideas and the Big Guy will help implement them. I believe in miracles. Warriors, fight on! Hugs, Melodie

dx Jan 07Thanks to all for your words of encouragement. I talk to people everywhere I go in an attempt to make others aware that there is such a cancer as bladder cancer…most are like I used to be and have no clue. When I talk with someone who has some concens of their own or for a relative, I don’t always have the time and opportunity to tell them everything I would like to share. Hence, I came up with the idea to create this website and I have the web addres put on cards and pass them out. If I am able to help even a handful of people, then it has been worth the effort. Thanks again for your reviews. Melodie
