My husband had his RC/IC Surgery yesterday
Mike had his Radical Cystectomy Surgery yesterday. He is in the ICU right now and seems to be doing well. I was at the hospital earlier today and spoke with his nurse. His nurse told me that Mike has decreased urinary output right now, which is normal for being under anesthesia for the length of time that Mike was. They are giving Mike IV fluids to increase urine output.
I’m so glad that the surgery is finally over. I think last night was the first night of good sleep that I had since we started this bladder cancer journey. All scans are showing that the cancer is contained to the bladder. The doctor told me that he will know for sure after all the biopsy results come back. I pray everything is OK.
I’m going back to the hospital in a little while and I hope his urine output is ok. -

I am sure that everything is going to be excelent! Your husband is very lucky to have you as a partner in this journey . Please let us know his evolution. Next tuesday i will have a citoscophy . I am a Little afraid, but i cant do anything, just wait and wish that everything will be ok.
