    Rich,

I love reading about good news. Congrats. Just make sure it is no longer than 6 months!

That’s good news. My doc scheduled all my cystos at 6 month intervals (well, the first one was 3 months post-turbt). Most material I’ve read suggest anywhere from 3 to 6 months so your schedule seems to be on point. I hope your dad continues to be cancer free. Best of luck!

    Hi friends,

Great news again – we just had the 2nd followup and my dad is still clear. No signs of a recurring tumor.

The 2nd follow-up was scheduled in December but we only got to it today (in February), so we had 2 followups in 10 months.

Doctor said as everything looked so clean inside the bladder ther was no need for the 3rd followup any time soon. He scheduled the next follow-up in 6 months (in Aug/Sep) and asked to do a CT and cytology before we come in.

Thanks for your support everyone and I’ll keep you updated.

    Rich

Critical? Probably not. Important, you bet. Good that you are back at it. Don’t remember if he was high grade or low. Both situations need monitoring.
