Has anyone here had a lymph node biopsy? Was it painful and what was the recovery time? I’m not so sure that it’s a good idea to start “poking” lymph nodes, but depending on how a CT scan comes out on Friday, Dad may have to have a pelvic node biopsied.

It’s so hard for me to accept that doctors DO get it WRONG and in my Dad’s case, DID get it wrong. I know they are human, but they are also paid big bucks to get things right. Guess I’m just frustrated because Dad got the “all clear” when he had his r/c and has since had to have the urethra removed and now a node biopsied.

    Thanks.

    Harleygirl,

My husband has the lymph node biopsy in his groin…It was painful, and your Dad will be sore for a while…I think your fathers Dr’s are being proactive…It sucks but it is better to know…then they can treat it…

I hope he gets the all clear with this one…
