Is this the end of the road?
Results from my recent CT scan show that my metastatic disease has spread rapidly. I now have multiple lesions in my pelvis, cancer in my abdominal lymph nodes and some ‘suspicious’ patches on each lung. The enlarged lymph nodes are causing my left kidney to swell so I will need a nephrostomy tube for now and possibly a stent. I have been offered some chemotherapy but no guarantee of success.

Love DianeDear Betsy Mae , As I read your post and the others I wondered what I could say, the words are so hard to find. I don’t know what your beliefs are but as I thought of you Psalms 91 of the Bible came in to my mind.

You’ve fought so hard and so many obstacles thrown at you. One wonders if the lung patches might be due to the radiation after the breast cancer? What can they offer you as secondary treatment?
My heart is heavy and i wish i knew the right words .
