    Hi,

I’m a 61 year old male. I was diagnosed with muscle-invasive small cell bladder cancer in February of this year. After chemotherapy I had my bladder and prostrate removed about 6 weeks ago, and a neobladder constructed. The operation was by keyhole robotic surgery and went well. (I am hugely grateful to the team of surgeons, one of whom travelled to Scotland from the Netherlands to carry out the surgery.)

I am now largely recovered and my incontinence (total after the operation) is now largely under control and the capacity of the neobladder is gradually increasing. However, I still leak whenever I cough or sneeze and sometimes when I stand.

Does anyone have any experience in the use of incontinence clamps to control such minor but inconvenient leakage?

    Many thanks,

    John
