Here we go again, or not?
Posted by dukel on November 27, 2011 at 8:13 pmNext month will be two years since my neo surgery. This summer
was so busy with cars shows and doing a remodel on one of my daughters homes. It was like i never had bladder cancer. I have
been truly blessed with my neo surgery results. Problem is, my lower back has been killing me again. Bladder infection? So last week i go in to my family Doctor. Next day when i go back in to pick up a Rx, he calls me in to tell me my kidney function has had a drop off. He wants to start some new rounds of tests and scans this week. Man, have i been here a number of times. The part i always hate the most is telling my wife and family. So i sit here today knowing i have to let her in on it
tonight, before phone calls start happening tomorrow. This month marks 20yrs since my bone cancer diagnoses. So i been playing on house money for a long time. I can’t complain. But telling Judy of possible bad news sucks. If I continue to be lucky, tests and scans will be negative. It’s not going to be
a pleasant week! Need to study up here on kidney involvement.

Again thanks.

Hope your doing great.
DukeHello Duke… The threat of bad news seems to always be looming and I am sorry you are having another scare. I am praying that it will be just that… a scare caused by some kind of minor infection that can be cleared up quickly.
Wishing you good results with your scans and tests…
Best wishes… CatherineTURBT 1/21/10 at age 55
