    Hi
Sorry I have been lurking on your site for the past month or so.I live in the South West of England and have been having bladder symptoms for about six months. In early June I had a huge bleeding episode which had me running to A and E.
Since then its been confirmed that I have invasive bladder cancer I saw my urologist yesterday and he is recommending surgery after prelim staging at T2 with no spread. The tumour is where the bladder joins the urethra so that and the prostate gland need to go too.
He is hoping we have caught things fairly quickly and the stage may be down graded after surgery which would be great news.
I am waiting for his secretary to ring with dates hopefully I will hear later today. The whole thing is terrifying but I want to get it over and done with and get on with my life at the moment its having a huge impact.
