    Hello All,
Abit about myself.. I am 27 year old female..overweight, non smoker, no children but besides having polycystic ovarian syndrome & pre diabetic..no other issues. That is up until Oct 2014.. that i began experiencing Gross hematuria on a monthly basis with clots. It always seems to be associated with Bacterial Cystitis / UTI..Infection is always present. I had a ct scan with and without iv contrast and no abnormalities were found. I finally decided to see a Uro.. especially because of constant UTI. will be having my first cystoscopy tomorrow morning. Im absolutely terrified and just dont know how I will cope with terrible news. I just wanted to talk with you all here and maybe you can send some positive vibes my way.
Thank you all & Bless each and every one of you.

Well I was all set for my cysto and my doc came in and said i still had infection present ..so she didnt want to proceed. I broke down crying as she explained that the bacteria is E.Coli and it has become resistant / sensitive to all the meds I have been fed in the past 6 months.
she wants to try a round of augmentin and if it clears up then we can do the scope.
Im at my wits ends with antibiotics amd feels as though i will never be normal again.

    ;(

Yes.. I constantly have quite moderate amount of bacteria. With antibiotics it clears and then the following month another Infection with gross amount of blood and clots.
It has been so depressing and I hear my family whisper the “C ” word behind my back.

I know I shouldnt whine bevause there are millions of people and children suffering very aggressive cancers. So Im certainly no one special to spare.

Thank you for your response Sara.
    much love

So sorry to hear about your issues. And will hope that your cystoscopy does not show anything that looks like cancer. If I understand you correctly, every time you have a UTI there are bacteria present? Then it is possible that this is what is causing your problem. I had UTI symptoms, over and over, but no bacteria. That is what became bladder cancer.

We will be thinking really good thoughts for you.
