    Doug had a good report yesterday!!! Cancer free for 2 years now. Kim, I know you are scared about the BCG and would like to give you some encouragement. Doug did have urgency (like every hour) while he was on BCG and had tissue in his urine. He never did miss work because of it…he finally was unable to continue with it (due to a month long fever caused by the BCG — he had to see an infectious disease doctor)…BUT the good news is as you’ve read above — he has been cancer free for 2 years now. Keep on keeping on…as Cynthia says, “Chin up, ever foward”. :P :laugh: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

    Always like to read about sucess!


    DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.
