    Hi,
I checked in to the general chat room , and a member called Danny was asking for input on bladder reconsruction surgery, and neobladders. Sorry there was no one else on line at the time, and I don·t know enough to advise but I·m sure if you post here in “newly diagnosed” there are several members who will be able to give you advice. Please post.
    Kind regards Flamenco

    Hi Danny,
I can’t speak from experience, but my brother had a “neo” bladder four yers ago (done are Barnes St Louis) and has never looked back. He has not had any problems so far. Good luck to you.
    Nix

    Hello Danny,
I received a neo-bladder on May 22, 2008. It is considered the most like original diversion. Do to my age, 38 at the time, I wanted the most natural diversion. The problems I’m having with it are do to being a women. We have a smaller urethra than men which causes us more problems. I believe that most of the men on the sight with this diversion love it. Basically a pouch is made out of a piece of bowel and hooked up to your urethra. You have to learn to go to the bathroom all over again because you receive different signals from the body. I’m sure others will speak up about the other types of diversions.
