Five years on
Posted by Flamenco. on December 2, 2011 at 11:12 amWell great news for me, had my cystoscopy yesterday and all ok. Difficult to imagine that it is five years ago since I was diagnosed, I feel like I won the lottery! My uro is keeping the cystos at 6 months because of the high grade of the original tumour, with a urine check at the 3 month interval in between. But life feels great, and definitely doing lots of Happy Dancing tis weekend!,

T1,NO,MO battling bladder cancer since 2005Way to go! Fantastic! You have kept the survival statistic on the positive side!
Somewhere in all the statistic stuff….. isn’t 5 years the end of their interest in you? I always wonder why they look a 5 year survival rates as the longest surveyed.
You 5 year people are such an inspiration to all of us. Our only hope is to join your club.

So happy to hear it. Also, I like you doctor a lot. I think that keeping a six month surveillance cycle on high grade is wise! With the quarterly urine tests, it is even better.
Enjoy the weekend and beyooooonnnnddddd… :)
