Eight Days to Go to RC/IP – Question about Lifting
Dear Friends – Pretty calm going into the home stretch. I am very concerned about the lifting restrictions and am anxious to see how you all handle it. Will I be able to carry my own beach chair? What about the Thanksgiving turkey? I am even getting nostalgic about carrying the laundry basket and making the bed.
I am lucky in that I am retired from a very rewarding career but do enjoy camping in our truck camper, traveling with a carry on and even doing some household chores. I do not want to become totally dependent on my husband for day to day living.
I am sure I will be turning to you all on methods to avoid hernias. Looking for a balance between avoiding those pesky things and continuing my life as I know it now.
