Dear Maria – I feel like I know you, having read all your posts from day one. I cannot believe this has happened to you! :( Please know I will think of you daily and am at least confident you are getting the best care there is!

    Take good care of yourself!

    Oh Maria,

I am so very very sorry to read your news. This has completely knocked me for six as it has you. Mere words will not help. I just want to come over and give you a big hug (whilst trying not to hurt you!). At least you have been offered some treatment quickly which will help. I’m sure there are others on the site who can offer advice regarding the treatment plan.

Will this have a bearing on your plans for this year? Call me if you are able. Keep smiling!

    Love
    Anne

Maria, I am sorry that the Bladder Cancer has spread to your bones. I can only imagine how painful it is for you. I hope the Radiation will give you some relief. I also suggest you see a pain specialist as they have some other methods in addition to narcotics to help reduce pain. Don’t hesitate to ask for help if you feel nausea/lack of appetite from the Radiation therapy. {{{{Hugs}}}} Julie
