  • Dental Work after 6 week regimen of BCG

I completed my first 6 week series of BCG treatments on Sept 11, 2019. Had a cystoscopy on Oct 6, with three small tumors noted and they were removed via TURBT on Oct 16th. I am scheduled for an additional course of 6 BCG treatments starting Nov. 13th. I AM IN NEED OF SOME DENTAL WORK. I have a dental appt. scheduled for tomorrow morning but am unable to locate information on the wait time for dental work after completing BCG treatments. My dental office is concerned and as I am working with the VA health service for BC care am unable to procure any info quickly. I HAVE READ SOMEWHERE THAT YOU SHOULD WAIT SIX WEEKS AFTER FINISHING BCG TREATMENTS BEFORE SEEKING DENTAL CARE….CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM WITH DATA. Thankyou.
