Have any of you had an MRI or other type of scan instead? If CT scans can lead to other cancers it seems we should insist on other methods.
Dx 10/5 Non Invasive PapillaryAnd to think I used to kid about glowing in the dark after my CT.
When I went to see the pulmonary specialist about the nodule in my lungs he mentioned this same concern. We talked about coordinating my scans if we could, but he wants to check me every 4 months at first and my uro every 3 months.
Dx 10/5 Non Invasive PapillaryPat – My spouse told me about this issue a few days ago; told him you would have the story here for us to read; a little late for some of us now that we’ve been zapped 15 or 20 times in the last several years. OUCH !!!
