Oh in a perfect world all doctors with a diagnosis of cancer of their patient would suggest a second opinion……..truth is they don’t. Some even get offended..of course those are the ones you run away from as fast as you can.
Robin if you have the results of the CT scan in your hands go ahead and fax it to The Cleveland Clinic or whomever else you want to fax it to…just make sure you make the contact first with the doctors personal nurse and its directed to her..otherwise it will travel all around the building and may take forever to land on the right desk. If you need help navigating that i will help you…just ask.

Robin,
,,,,I will pm you the number to call at the cleveland clinic…this puts you directly into Stepanie Ziegman who is a assistant to Dr. Campbell, you can speak with her and she can guide you as to where to start. Also tell her I sent you the number…thats is if you choose to get another opinion there..You can send them your results and see what they say…Ginger

Robm,
I would wait for your appointment to get frazzled, first of all he still hasn’t made a recommendation to send you to a specialist for a second opinion, insist on that right away when you go to your appt. also push them for an appt. sooner rather than later. I can’t comment on what the report says but I know it is a situation that needs attention asap….take care, you have my cell number…anytime, Ginger -
thanks melissa — it’s been 3 days since my ct – dr said he would call – i’ve called twice – trying not to take too personally — thank you again

Hi Rob
Have you called your doctor’s office? If you have a copy of the report, it is likely they got a copy before you did. Call and leave a message that you would like him/her to call you. There is nothing worse than seeing a report and then letting your mind go crazy with “what ifs”.
I wish I had an educated explanation for your question, I just didn’t want you to sit around “freaking and tweaking” before you have a response from your doctor.
I hope your anxiety is eased soon.
M
