  • Chemo before bladder removal

I have been diagnosed with Stage 2 bladder and prostate cancer. A PET scan has revealed that it has spread to two lymph nodes. So, it looks like chemo, then surgery to remove the bladder and prostate, with a rebuilt bladder from the small intestine. I just turned 50. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

    Welcome tchrs1245.

I have not had to have my bladder out but, I am assume some that have had a cystectomy will stop by. Being a weekend give it a little extra time, I just wanted to let you know your thread has been seen. Ask away on any subject. We are here to listen to the good, bad and anything in between
