Went over the scan with my doc. Complete response!

The reference lymph nodes shrunk to tiny size indicative of scar tissue.

Now I’m going to be on a maintenance dose of Avastin or a placebo.
So as you’ve heard me say before….CANCER FREE until proven otherwise!!!
    Woohoo!

If anyone deserves to have a “Barn Painting Party” you do.

Until proven otherwise…. I am going racing at Watkins Glen with my friends, and hopefully will retain my NY State Racing Champeeeeenship for 2014.

Hi Mike, The water looks great ! I am glad you get to chill out. My ears have been ringing for years and as hard as it is to believe, you do get used to it and kinda tune it out. Sometimes I put my headphones on and just find some static on my radio to listen to. Sounds like a dumb thing to do , but for me it breaks it up. Glad you got your barn painted before winter set in, thats got to be a relief for you . Have a great time in the sun soaking up all the great rays !! Rocky

Got some hearing aids and it helps a lot with the ear ringing. They even have blue tooth so I can listen to tunes!

In Cancun for 2 weeks recuperating from the chemo.

Before we came some folks from my company surprised me and flew in for the weekend to repaint our barn. I had pressure washed it prior to chemo but I wasn’t up to painting. They came for the weekend to help. Such a surprise! I work with a great group of folks!

    Best to all!

I always hear ringing in my ears. But sometimes I hear voices!
I always thought it was a normal thing.

Great news Mike! Thanks for the update.

Thanks! Went for my 2nd maintenance dose of Avastin (or placebo). Still doing well. Hair is growing back the same color and texture as it was. Still chemo brain and I have ringing in ears but if that is a price I have to pay then so be it. :)

Haven’t been on the site in a while and dreaded checking, but this is the best news ever, Mike! We are all so relieved.
