"Cancer Claus"
My husband dresses up as Santa every year for the kids, and nieces and nephews. He has a bag filled with toys, and even sneaks down the street and all the kids watch from the windows as he goes down the street…Anyway this year since he is so tired from the Chemo, and the Cancer in general, he said he is going to be “Cancer Claus” (obviously a joke for the adults) the kids will just see a more tired Santa and he will definitely will require more “stuffing” this year, we bought a slip cover for our wing back chair in Red and put decorations all over it. He will sit like the “Mall” Santa’s and spend more time listening, and telling stories & reading books…I think it will be more intimate than it has ever been. Yes, less animated but I think more special…I am sure there will be a lot of tears but the video camera will be going and the memories will last forever….
