    t-cells Kick Cancer’s Butt

    I just had a Cysto earlier today – and finally got an All Clear. Whew!

    I have been on a 3 month schedule since Nov 2011 and every cysto, except one, has shown a recurrence – either actual or potential. I also had a CT scan of the upper renal system on Tuesday, and thankfully that was ok.

    The reason for the good news? Perhaps it is because my immune system is still in high gear, even after BCG maintenance round #2 was stopped in March because of a severe allergic reaction, including rash/hives. I still have bouts with the itchies and every little scratch evokes an inflammatory response. My new Uro believes that these are all positive signs and that the BCG is still working. Yeah!!!
