My Husband just received his first BCG treatment. It was administered in our hospital in the Medical Daycare room. The Doctor was not present, but the nurse was experienced and very helpful.
He is scheduled for the same time and day every week, Sunday’s at 4 pm. If there is to be a next round, we might try for an earlier appointment as he did not receive the treatment until 4:45 pm. It may be a long night, having to drink extra water and urinate frequently. We are both relieved he has started treatment and has been recently feeling better after the TURBT. :)
