I concur–very helpful presentation. If I knew my uro’s e-mail address I’d send the link to him. If I ever need another TURBT I want to make sure he knows about the guideline for immediate instillation of mitomycin at the time of TURBT. I had asked him about this last year some time, just out of general interest (I was just having a check-up, not a TURBT), but was told they only used mitomycin as a longer-term therapy for those who couldn’t tolerate BCG.

Small TA Grade 1, May-06; recur (2 tiny), same, June-08; TURBTs both times. BCG begun July-08, dosage to 1/3rd May-10, completed treatment December-11. All clear since 2008.
