I just got back from my cystoscopy. And got an all clear!

My Uro asked if I have noticed any blood or discomfort lately. I told him I haven’t but that I will let him know if I do. He seemed okay with my answer, but told me to be sure that I do. I’m sure it was a routine question, but he just seemed a little more serious than usual.

It might have just been a busy day for him, and it came across wrong. He is a great guy and normally makes me laugh. And if something isn’t right he lets me know it right away. So I will just keep a close eye on everything for now.

This makes the second All Clear in a row! :cheer:

    Congrats on the all clear!!!

Don’t try to read too much into the doc being more serious. I don’t think you are but just in case. You never know if he just got the estimate for his boat repair or his wife just informed him her parents are moving in with them or if he just had to give bad news to a patient or what.

It’s important that bladder cancer patients report any blood or problems immediately, and that alone is enough reason to be a bit serious with you.

It’s how I knew mine was back. They couldn’t find where the blood was coming from but it was back. It took a visit to a 2nd opinion doctor at a top bladder cancer hospital to finally find it and when they did it was already invasive.

    Celebrate often!
