Just came from my 3-month cysto check–all clear! :woohoo: My last (and only) recurrence was in June 2008, and I’ve been all clear since then. Now I’ll be on the 6-month check-up schedule, which doesn’t hurt my feelings one bit. I go for 3 weekly maintenance BCG treatments (at 1/3rd dose) starting next week. I was already on the every 6 months schedule for that at least.

I know a number of my “check-up buddies” have had similar good news lately, and I wish the same for everyone. Who else is in the 6-month club lately?

    Ann

Small TA Grade 1, May-06; recur (2 tiny), same, June-08; TURBTs both times. BCG begun July-08, dosage to 1/3rd May-10, completed treatment December-11. All clear since 2008.

Yahoo! Great news, Ann.
I am in the 6 month club – three months into my first 6 month cycle. I am no longer in the BCG club, but enjoying skipping the 3 month cysto.

Congratulations, Ann! I’m new here and will be going for my 3rd 3-mo. cysto in three weeks. (That’s a lot of 3’s!) The first two were all clear so I hope the next one continues that good fortune. Your milestone of 2+ years is encouraging. Thanks for sharing your good news!

    Best wishes… Catherine

Ann great news. My first follow up after my first six month break will be December 2, wow does time fly. You feel so great when you get promoted to every six months, but here I am about a month away ( 5 months flew by), starting to think about the exam.

If clear again, most likely BCG treatment 19-21, so far full strength

Seems like we just did this Ann! This is a habit I don’t mind at all though. Congratulations on the great news and graduating to 6 month cystos!
