  • A Question Very Concerned About

I am still staying focused positive and as posted earlier my tumor did get into the muscle. As mentioned Dr. Wein’s nurse said the tumor is contained no other tumors on the bladder. They also got my left ureter opened with stent and kidney now functioning. I did have the Cat Scan of chest done but my question and deepest concern at this part is the bone scan. I feel pretty good under the circumstances, eating well, and have lost no weight. My concern here there are no hot spots on any of the bones I was just curious how others felt about this test if your results were similar to mine about this test. What I mean this test showing if anything has spread so I guess all I can do here is pray to God and keep my fingers cross. Thanks All, Joe

Thanks you guys and thank God for CSI, Law & Order they run both of them in marathons on certain stations and poker thats where I head when my mind starts running. I think what I am really finding out like Wendy had replied when I 1st posted how this does change your life forever. Yep I am still trying my best to focus positive and keep a good attitude to beat this. My point the way I lived my life on the wild side raising three sons I am now legally insane lol so I will do my best to hang in there and try to hold onto the sanity I still have left. God Bless, Joe

    Hi Joe,
    Yep,
    Bone scan and chest X-rays.
    Routine here too!
Your at the point where everything is coming together. This also was the hardest time for me.
Your mind will run wild thinking about this stuff. You need to relax and keep thinking positive.
    Your in my prayers.
    Good luck!
    Jeff

I don’t know about others but it was routine to get a bone scan before my surgery. My tumor had also invaded the muscle but thats as far as it got…no lymph nodes involved at least of the 33 they pulled out!
