    I just returned from my seven year checkup. And I am still cancer free and “The poster child of RC” according to my Dr.

    Normally I would be Over the Moon with this news……. But I am thinking of all the folks here, that are still fighting the battle, and those that didn’t get a good report from their Dr., or the friends that passed away from this shitty disease.
    Sorry for the swearing, but I have no respect for this cancer thing.

    My wife Audrey
    My three great girls
    My Dr. Mian
    The staff at the hospital, Nursing staff especially
    My friends who still came by to visit, even when I was broken.
    And All of you here on this site. Yes…. You really pulled me through.
    And Mike McGarry…. I still have your last text message on my phone.

    See? I didn’t do this all alone. And neither should you. It takes a City.
    I will continue to go to every checkup….. And hopefully I can report back to you a positive result. You all should do the same. And I want to hear all of your reports too.

    DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

    And I understand your feelings about those who are still fighting and those who didn’t make it. For some reason I have been thinking of Mike a lot lately. He was, and still is, an inspiration! That is why we keep this Forum going, so that
    others can benefit from the hard-won experience of so many of us….and especially
    you!
