When you say 'referral' do you mean second opinion about dx or are we talking about another opinion on treatment or both?

It sounds too much like you're putting yourself down when you say that. We all have our fears and dark moments with this beast. If you can take comfort and strength from the replies you get, great, but don't tell yourself it's because you're not strong. In the end, you'll find the strenght to do what you have to do, and you'll do fine.

It's good to hear from you. I just want to tell you to try not to worry, even though I think you are just bound to worry anyway. Take care of yourself and do the right things and remember that we are here to talk to. You aren't alone that's for sure.
