PS,

That is not to say that you should leave any stone unturned to look for an answer.
I'm just saying that you aren't alone in your bafflement and frustration.

I do hope you find some answers.

Went to GP today - i feel like I am back at beginning again to last month. No blood found on stick on urine test so has sent another one to see if any microscopic blood cells are found. If that comes back negative he will then do some gyne bits - why I dont know as already had those bits examined and last month were told everything healthy. I explained that these small spots were intermittent and not everyday, althoug have found 5 days out of 7. Explained still cystitis feeling in bladder area. Should I just give up and accept things. Starting to feel sick now.

Well have spoken to my uros nurse who has asked me to ask my GP tomorrow to do a dip test. She says that just because there is blood in my underwear may not be in my urine so have to get that checked.

Ian,

Thanks, Buddy. :-[ I never heard it called MSU, and my mind was heading down a gynecological trail. It did not compute.

Sally, can you get an appointment with the Urologist and bypass the GP? I would think that your Urologist would want to know this information. I'm pretty sure that my Uro would want to know....

I would sometimes have blood on my pants with an ovarian cyst, but, with your history, I think you should have the Uros beat the bushes on this one.
