I never had BCG, but I do remember the postoperative tissue slough because I had clots that wouldn't pass. That started about a week after my TURB. The last time I had biopsies I had the same experience.

I actually did not notice debris until about my 10th or 11th treatment. My nurse said that if I saw tissue and debris, that it meant the treatments were working. I was actually worried for awhile because I didn't see anything.

I don't think that debris and tissue is abnormal at all. But, still, my best advice to you is to report everything to your Doctor.

Take care, and keep us posted,
Rosemary

Rosemary, I had my surgery/resection on April 18th. I'm into my 5th BCG treatment now. I only notice a bit of debris but just wondered?

How long are you out from your TURB?

My Urologist Nurse told me to expect tissue and debris after BCG's. She seemed to think that this was a good thing.

Are you still getting BCG's at the present time? Sorry not to have a definitive answer.
BCG's seem to work differently on everyone. I would, however, report everything you see, and any perceived side effects to your Doctor.

Best regards,
Rosemary

How long does it take a resected tumor scab to fall off? Could debris in urine during BCG be parts of this? If not what would cause the tissue or debris during BCG'S? Any Answer? Thanks.
