Curious if anyone has had their MD support taking time off from work for biopsy then BCG regimens.
My employer prefers employees to go on disability ( internal insurance) as it replaces salary expense with insurance payments. My HR manager said if I have to take off for more than a week I have to go on disability.
I recently discovered disability insurance is not taxable so it will be very close to my regular pay. I’ve been thinking I’ve been paying into this policy for 18 years and shouldn’t hesitate to access now that I have more detail.
Will talk with my MD later this week but wanted to get a feel for what others have experienced.
