Interferon. Has anyone had good results?

Yes, diagnosed with CIS. Flat tumor, non muscle invasive. It was spread around the bladder. They found cancer at multiple biopsy locations.

Hi TMC,

After my initial 6x treatments with BCG alone, my urologist moved me over to BCG with Interferon with positive results. I got the "all clear" earlier this year and finished up my first round of 3x maintenance treatments about 7 weeks ago. I will say that my bladder is still feeling pretty sensitive, but does take time to heal up after the treatments.

I went back and read the past posts on the Interferon & BCG combo. It is good to hear about good results. I also clicked on the link someone had provided and I printed out a ton of information on it, that I plan to read up on. I am anxious to start this treatment in a few weeks, as well as get 2 more opinions from Urology Oncologists. 1 at Duke Cancer & Research Institute and the other at Levine Cancer Institute. Both highly regarded in the field. I see both in July, so feel really good that I will be in good hands.
