Pta G2 low grade relapse after 10 years survival rate??

Sibelsue,

The very few long term stats that I have uncovered (longer than 5 years in the future) are in relation to very specific
long term minutely defined treatment protocols. Even then disclosure is limited to average disease free survival, and average overall survival - neither of which is predictive for an individual.

His doctor's evaluation of his overall AND cancer-specific situation will be more important than any published study.

On the positive side, Dr. Lamm has made the observation, "The longer the time to the first recurrence, the greater the likelihood of long term survival".

Best to you both,
Jack

They are simply stats. Almost meaningless with everyone being different in DX, stages, lifestyle (such as smoking and not smoking) etc. More to your question; chances are very good your father will die from something other than bladder cancer. Especially being cancer free for 10 years and being non invasive. It is good that you and your father are diligent in keeping those yearly checkups. The only downside is he will be put back on 3 month checkups for a while.

Hello wonderful people,

sorry for bothering you with my consistent questions concerning my father over and over again, but does anybody know how the survival rate for a Pta G2 low grade patient is (first relapse after 10 years) ? i mean how accurate are those stats?
