I'm so sorry to hear this news. Your type of story is in the back of mind all the time. When I'm really enjoying life the thought will slip in that "it" can always come back and with BC, the chances it will are pretty high.
08/16/16 - TURBT - 1 tumor, T1HG, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 1.8 cm, non-invasive papillary.
BCG treatments (15 doses total - last March, 2018). As of latest cysto, As of May 4, 2023 - cancer free!

I am actually having surgery 12/29 to remove these 3 "spots." I find it scary that it came back. I know this is common... but scary. I don't know much about interferon. I will look into that. Thank you.

Sorry to read about the situation. I am surprised that your URO isn't doing another TURB just to be sure what you are looking at. Yes, probability is it's BC but, stranger things have been seen. Also, BCG with interfuron is often a combination on a second course where it appears the first hasn't worked.
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Hello all,
I posted last year when I was first diagnosed with non-invasive bladder cancer 10/28/16. I had the tumor removed, had 1 installation of mio post op. This was followed by 6 weeks of BCG. My doctor was discussing moving me to 6 months cystoscope rather than every 3 months. Unfortunately he found 3 spots in the same area. I want to be thankful that he found it and on some level I am. Mostly I'm discouraged, scared and anxious about what the future with BC holds. I read all the posts and I believe this is a place to say all of this.
