Hi, I was diagnosed with cis in 12/ 2014. After turbt, 3 installs of bcg, it has returned. My urologist is now recommending radical cystectomy. He sent me to the medical oncologist to see about possible chemo / rad. They said they don't do chemo with non invasive tumors. I didn't get why not.
I have heart disease and peripheral vascular diease and am not a great candidate for a 'big' surgery.
Why is it they don't do chemo with non invasive? The bcg had to be cut to 1/3 dose and I am not a candidate for that, besides the cancer recurring.
What options do I have other than surgery?
