Many thanks for bothering to reply. I am most grateful. I shall certainly take your advice regarding "Celebrex" and investigate it with my doc.
I must admit I have now started to take Catafast and it helps. Quite frankly it has been 3 weeks now, so it is about time something works!!
Incidentally, I hail from sunny Malta - in Europe.

I'm not sure, but I do know that besides Celebrex there's nothing that helps me for my arthritis. If you would find some troubles with it either, then talk with your doc about celebrex.... not sure but i think that it might be helpful for you too...

In March 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer at the bottom end of my left ureter. My left kidney was removed along with the ureter. My bladder was infected and I was cleaned up.
A month later I did the standard 6 weeks of bcg. When I was tested, the euro told me they found a field of mushrooms!!. So I did another 6 weeks of bcg. This time round I was told they found only 2 on the dome of my bladder. I have now finished my third 6 week round of bcg and 3 days after I got terrible thigh and shoulder muscle and joint pains. I went to my euro who told me that bcg does not cause such pains. He admitted that the immune system gets a bit of a punishment.
So I went to another doctor who thinks that it could be dormant rheumatism or arthritis being woken up! due to my being 75 years old. He prescribed Telfast 180 grms _ 1 a day. This is my second day without positive results. It is now 8 days without positive results and I am running out of Paracetomol! which I must admit have been a great relief from the pain. I even have to lift my foot with my hand to get in my car.
Has anyone had the same symptoms?.
Could anyone tell me what medication was prescribed for them.
