Beginning BCG

No urgency or burning, I want that type of BCG! I didn't have fluish or sore throat. Starting my 3rd or 4th (can't remember as time flies) 3 week treatment in a couple weeks. Looking and not looking forward to it, mixed feelings. I'm sure when they tell me I'll have BCG every 6 months I'll wonder about that. Hope your next treatments go well, it's a great support group here!!! Jay

Thanks for your reply last week. It made me feel a lot better. This morning I did not have any coffee and really only miniscule bits of liquid--sip of water for medications and milk on my cereal. Also the nurse suggested I take an oxybutynin before my treatment. I had to go about 10:45 when my target time was 11. So back to about the same time for my 2nd treatment. The first I could hold the full 2 hours. So now only 2 more to go. I find this support network very helpful.

Had my first BCG last Friday and the only symptoms I had was a little fluish, sore throat and fever at 101.. I took one Motrin and fever was down in 15 minutes. I hope they are all that easy but that may be a little optimistic.

Thank you Lillian! So glad all is going well with you. My first BCG is this Friday so I will update after I have a few. Thanks to this board I'm not very nervous about starting. Thanks again for your post.
