You picked the perfect word..... Devastated
That's how we feel for you. And pretty PO'd too.
But we have to start somewhere, to get to the end of this.
Sounds like your Dr has a plan. And nothing beats a "man with a plan"
Just to let you know , my time on the TV set looked just like yours.
But I had a Dr with a plan
We are in this together.
Thinking of you
Light a man a fire and he is warm for an evening.
Light a man ON fire and he's warm forever.

Gina... I am soooo sorry to hear this news. That must have been very shocking and frightening to see those growths on the screen. And, I know you don't want to appear too scared in front of your family, but we understand completely the fear and anxiety that comes along with this disease.
Your doctor is right... you have to get those nasty little hitchhikers out of there and biopsied so you know exactly what you are dealing with. I'm sure waiting for that to happen will be almost unbearable, so it is a good thing you have your family to keep you busy much of the time.
You can always bring any bad scary thoughts here. Nothing is off limits and many of us have had those same kind of bad thoughts running around in our heads at different points along the way in our own bc experiences.
Please let us know as things develop, and come back here as many times as you need or want to post in the forum. Keeping you in my thoughts...
Best wishes... Catherine

Got my cystoscopy today. As I laid on the table top and looked inside my bladder I became numb...it looked bad...unlike in the past, having only one growth...there were MANY all over the bladder...I commented to my doctor that it was BAD and he immediately shut off the screen and said, let's get back to surgery, remove them and go from there...I am so afraid! It looked horrible there were growths all over my bladder...
