Good for you, Albert! I can tell you are a person who looks for solutions on your own. It is quite possible the clots were causing a partial blockage. Be sure to tell your doctor about them as well.

Hoping things are back to normal! Keep us posted.

Best wishes... Catherine

Great idea I sometimes do not understand the terminology until look it up. I was prescribed Proscar (finasteride) back in January and recently read about it and realized I do not need it. I never had a problem getting up at night or problem urinating. I thought it was for enlarged prostate.
Now I read everything first.
I want to thank you for your help
Earlier I started drinking a lot of hot water and started to flush pretty good. Started urinating like normal and flushed some good size blood clots out. Now I feel like normal. I wonder if clots were blocking things.

One more thought... it is a good idea to get copies of any tests, reports, etc. for your own record. That way, you can look things up if you want more info on your own as you have time and are not feeling as stressed as in the doctor's office. I know I barely remember what the doctor says when I'm there for my brief appointment time.

Just ask them to send you a copy of the path report/lab report if you speak to them on the phone about your tests, or at your next appointment in person ask for a copy.

I hope you are feeling much better soon...

Best wishes... Catherine

Thank You, Before this procedure I was urinating normal, no burning or frequent urinating. The doctor said it should only be a temporary lazy bladder and after a few Caths it should be ok. I was supposed to get my results on Thur. the 13th but Cedar Cyanide did not have them ready . I live in a rural area about 300 miles from los Angeles.
I started in December with blood in my urine but was not visable to the eye. They did a scope in the office, saw no growths but the residual blood and urine showed cancer cells. Several months of urine test and still was showing blood and cancer cells so I did the procedure as an out patient. I was feeling fine until after the catheter was removed I started having problems. I will give her a call in the Am, thanks.

Hello Albert... The fluorescence cystoscopy you had is also called "blue light" cystocopy and is said to be much more effective at finding smaller or hidden tumors than the traditional method. Your doctor probably explained that to you already. I would give the doctor's office a call tomorrow (Monday) and ask about your results. A week should be adequate time for that to be completed.

Did your symptoms of burning and not voiding start after this test? Has the doctor given you any idea of how the lazy bladder might be treated or improved? Hopefully having to cath is a temporary measure. And, if they cannot help you, look for a urologist who specializes in bladder cancer to get a second opinion.

I do not have any experience with either of these topics, and I don't recall them being discussed in the forum. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Please post the results of your test when you get them.

Best wishes... Catherine
