OK! So you made it through! You are my hero! Thanks for posting and giving us the straight scoop.

I can sympathize with you and Mike probably has the same "double punch" feelings as you. Please keep your good attitude intact! Studies have confirmed that a positive attitude has a HUGE bearing in your recovery. I know it is disappointing to have to go through this a second time, BUT please fine all the GOOD in life to help you along!

While none of us can step into your shoes, we ALL have a reason to help you along! Because this could be any one of us; We are all in this for you.

Wishing you the best and sending prayers your way.

George

Hello All,

I've just completed by last treatment and I have to say that this time around was significantly more challenging. I experienced significant pain after my last two treatments and had to rely on pain meds to get by. I now have until the 29th of this month before I go into MGH for more surgery.

During these past six weeks, I've really thought about best and worse case and will be discussing this with my doctor next week. I have to say that the emotional aspects of being diagnosed a second time, have really taken a toll on me.

So a few weeks to lay low then we'll see what is in store for me.

Thanks for keeping us posted
I am sorry for acting like I know what I'm talking about, but my hope is to have you here years from now telling us of your travels and adventures and not worrying about this crappy disease

Good luck from all of us
