Hi Warren , I havn't been on for awhile and just catching up, it is good to hear how well you are doing. I always liked to read your post when I first got on here seven years ago , you were a tower of strength in all your post and lifted us all. Rocky

Great news Warren! Very glad to hear it. Foley after the surgery is way easier than Foley prior to the surgery.

Just a quick follow up! I think I'm doing great. Can't wait to get my suprapubic tube and drain out so I can shower, but I have found a way to wash my hair over the tub with a handheld shower and the rest of me by wash cloth. Gotten the morning routine of bathing, changing to leg bags, changing dressings, emptying the drain, and flushing the catheters down to 1.5 hours and it no longer exhausts me. Believe it or not, the Foley in the neobladder as compared to the native bladder is barely noticible.

Thanks for the update and the good news. You have surpassed all expectations in the "Walking" Dept. I guess there has to be a hiccup now and then, so as you have far exceeded the walking part; you have to backtrack on the "leaking part.

All in all it appears as though you are in command of your recovery and your attitude is positive. Well done!

Keep up the good work! We are listening.

Sincerely
George
