He is listening, not judging. I'll take that.
Just waiting to see if improvement continues.

It never ceases to amaze me how complicated the human body is. Why is it that a chemical can be one persons greatest source of relief, and anothers worst nightmare?

I'm glad to hear that you are getting some relief.

Did you talk to your doctor about this? If so what did he have to say?

I wanted to update my earlier posting with good news. After the pain began to return after having calcification scraped from my bladder I posted here. Calcification began after mytomycin following BCG. Thank you for your responses.
I followed a hunch more than facts and stopped taking omeprazole (anti-acid). Pain began to decrease, acid increased, took omeprazole for 2 days, pain increased. Stopped.
KIdney function almost back to normal and today's cysto showed only one small calcification. That one was surface and not deep as earlier plagues. Not pain free but improved.
Omeprazole connection to kidney makes a little sense as it can increase the complexity of proteins in blood. Omeprazole to calcification makes less sense though nano crystals can be grown from complex proteins in the lab.
Does not make sense, but I will take the good result.
Mike
